Our Story:
The Health Nut was founded by Anthony Knight, LMT, and Thelma Jones, LMT, in 2017 in Lafayette, Tennessee when they realized that the people needed something they weren't getting: Therapeutic Massage and a more well-balanced, healthy lifestyle. We now employee three licensed massage therapists, each with different modalities and specialties.
Anthony Knight, LMT:
Anthony Knight, LMT, AMTA and NCTMB Certified, has been a massage therapist since 2009. Anthony has since gained certifications in: Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish Thai,Kineseology and Muscle Testing, Advance Body Work in Medical Massage Professional, including Post Surgery Breast Cancer.
Thelma Jones, LMT:
Thelma Jones, LMT, AMTA certified, has been a massage therapist since 2018. Thelma has since gained certifications as a Medical Massage Practioner. She has also gained certifications in Prenatal and Infant Massage, Manual Therapy of the Female Breast, and Breast Cancer Massage.
Amy Hibdon, LMT:
Amy Hibdon, LMT, has been a massage therapist since 2016. Amy specializes in Swedish massage.
She has since trained in CranioSacral therapy through the Upledger Institute. She has been doing Sound Therapy for 3 yrs and is currently working on her certification as an Art of Raising Frequency Practitioner.
Courtney Wright, LMT:
Courtney Wright, LMT has been a massage therapist since 2022. Courtney has training in Swedish relaxation massage and therapeutic massage.
